Hi! I'm recently married with a sweet blended family. We have a unique situation, that totally sounds crazy but is all God. I "met" my now husband in a dream before actually meeting him. We had only communicated via a facebook group we were both apart of, so we knew of each other but hadn't met. It was HIM in my dream. His face, his name, him. We became friends shortly after my friend told him I had this dream, and we stayed friends for 6 years before deciding to give this relationship thing a try! We are now married and currently still live in 2 different states while the kids finish out school. So we travel back and forth each month to see each other and the kids. Its not ideal by any means, but it is short term and the family we have together makes it all worth it. We both have our primary jobs and income, but I am in an industry that can fluctuate quite a bit. My family needs another stream of income to support itself; 3 kids, 2 of which are driving, 2 are going off to college in a few short years, travel sports is heavy for 1, as well as travelling back and forth to each other. We needed another avenue to support our family, to support our giving goals, our big dreams, but before any of that we needed it to support just life. I needed something that could go alongside my life, by being at home, or in another state, and able to make money when my career took a dip in production. To pay off the debt that had wracked up from my career inconsistencies. To be able to take our family on vacation without it having to ALL be on my husband to provide for us. I want to provide too! I love to contribute to the household.
For some reason, which I often think is really God's way of putting something in our paths, when we aren't quite sure what to do but then an idea pops up in your head and someone appears on IG who is successfully doing that same idea... yeah, I think that's Gods way of saying "check this out"... that's how it happened for me. I was nervous because it's so different than what I do or have done. But I have learned that He sneaks ideas in that you wouldn't think of yourself as a plausible path. Because we doubt ourselves, but He doesn't. I decided to go for it. At a minimum I wanted to LEARN. And when I found a course that I could do just that but also gave me the opportunity to sell it for a profit if I decided to, I went with that. I obtained the OPTION to sell it. Not a requirement to sell it. But if I liked the training and everything that I learned, then I could make the decision for myself to do more with it and help the thousands of wives and moms out there, just like me, that want or NEED to contribute to their household. Why can't I be successful at this??? So that's what I have decided to do. God led me to this, and if it's for you or if he wants you to explore something outside of your comfort zone, he will put it on your heart to do this for your family. You CAN do it. I had the same doubts you're having. My question to you would be, why can't you do it? Why can't you be successful doing this? Why can't God use you like he's using me? He won't bless inaction, but he will bless action. Lets do this.
